The wait is over – The day you've been eagerly anticipating has finally arrived. It's Thursday in Augusta and time for the next iteration of A Tradition Unlike Any Other!

I'm Jim Nantz, joining you live from Magnolia Lane on this windy and unpredictable day as we get underway.

With the weather looking ominous this morning, tournament staff made the decision to delay the start of Round 1 until 10:30 am today. That extra time gave grounds crews the chance to do what they could to dry up the soaked course, and it gave our operations team the window needed to lock in all pool entries.

The field is set, and we have a record 121 contenders vying for the top slot on the leaderboard. Speaking of leaderboards, they are now live as the first round of play is underway.

The total purse for the 15th Annual Masters Pool climbed to a record height as well at $1,800. The breakdown of the purse will be as follows:

First Place	$900
Second Place	$450
Third Place	$225
Ladies Champion	$200
Last Place	$25

Ties will split, and, remember that, as was witnessed last year, the Ladies Champion can take overall prizes as well.
